Severstal’s Cherepovets Steel Mill cuts production cost in 2014

Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that its Cherepovets Steel Mill reduced its production costs by RUB 6.5 billion ($101 million) in 2014.
 
Sergey Toropov, CEO of Severstal Russian Steel, said that the savings are two times higher than the savings guidance for 2014, adding that the cost reduction was achieved throughout the entire production chain.
