Severstal subsidiaries to supply coking coal and pellets to Ruukki

Russian steelmaker Severstal's mining division Severstal Resources has announced that its subsidiaries Karelsky Okatysh and Vorkutaugol will supply coking coal and iron ore pellets for Finland-based steelmaker Ruukki over the coming three years.

The deliveries will meet around 20 percent of Ruukki's demand for coking coal and iron ore pellets. The initial shipments of pellets to Ruukki took place in the current month of May, whereas first coal deliveries will begin in July this year.
