Severstal starts to supply rolled steel for Hyundai-KIA

Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that it has successfully completed its first commercial scale stamping of steel for mass production of car front panels at Hyundai-KIA. 
 
Under the terms of an existing agreement, from January to December of the current year Severstal is also supplying Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Rus with galvanized and cold rolled steel for manufacturing internal body parts for Hyundai Solaris and KIA Rio cars.

Meanwhile, Severstal and the Renault-Nissan Alliance have signed an agreement for the supply of rolled steel from July 2015 to February 2016. The rolled steel, which is produced in Cherepovets, will be used in the manufacture of models produced by the Renault-Nissan Alliance.
