Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that specialists at its Balakovo Long Product Mill have mastered technology for structural shapes production - angles and channels - as part of the integrated hot test of equipment. The mill produced a batch of angles of 75 mm x 75 mm x 5 mm and channels of 10P, complying with GOST.

These types of profiles are used in construction in high-rise frame buildings, in severe and long-span floors and coatings.
