Severstal looks forward to raising flats production

Alexey Mordashov, the General Director of Russian steelmaker Severstal, during the opening ceremony of Severstal's Izhora Pipe Plant announced that the company is considering the possibility of raising the production of flat rolled products. Mr. Mordashov commented that due to beginning of realization of massive oil pipelines construction projects in Russia, the domestic market would require more flat rolled products to satisfy the needs of the pipe industry.
