Severstal issues financial results for Jan-Sept

The Russian steelmaker Severstal has issued its financial data for the first nine months of 2007.

According to the company release, during the period in question Severstal's revenues increased by 23.7 percent, its operational profit went up by 44.1 percent, EBIDTA rose by 38.9 percent and the company's net profit climbed by 60.7 percent. The respective figures were $11.283 billion, $2.029 billion, $2.986 billion, and $1.326 million.
