Severstal increases supplies for construction industry in 2013

Russian steelmaker Severstal has announced that it increased its supplies to building contractors in Russia to 3.362 million mt in 2013. This constitutes a 14 percent increase compared to 2012.

In the whole of 2013, Severstal Invest's trading network (part of the Severstal Russian Steel division's distribution channel) sold 230,000 mt of steel products from Severstal to construction companies, up 36 percent year on year.
