Serhat Haddecilik to increase rolling capacity

According to the announcement made by Turkish mill Serhat Haddecilik Sanayi & Ticaret A.S., the company has decided to increase its Karabuk-based plant's annual rolling capacity from 60,000 tons to 150,000 tons. When the capacity expansion is completed, the company will roll mostly 8-10 mm rebar and 3-4 mm thickness strip profile and 7-5-8-9-10 mm square bar. The investment is expected to be stepped in till the end of January 2007. The company has run a rolling mill in Karabuk, Turkey, since 1987. The area covered by its facilities is 12,000 m², including 6,000 m² closed area and 6,000 m² open area.
