Seamless pipe exports from Sichuan up 16 percent in H1

In the first half of the current year, seamless steel pipe exports from the Chinese province of Sichuan amounted to 98,000 mt, worth a value of $100 million, according to local media sources. The total export volume and total export value of seamless pipe exports from Sichuan in H1 this year both increased by 16 percent year on year, but average seamless steel pipe prices per metric ton decreased by 2.5 percent year on year.
 
In H1 this year, Sichuan Province's seamless steel pipe exports increased sharply to the UAE and South Korea. In the given period, state-owned enterprises contributed 84 percent to Sichuan's total seamless steel pipe exports.
