Scrap supplies to MMK decline by 22% in January-May

Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has stated that in the January-May period this year scrap supplies to the company declined by 22 percent year on year to 592,500 mt.

In May alone, supplies of scrap to MMK increased by 45.5 percent compared to April to 239,200 mt, but decreased by 27.1 percent compared to May 2013.
