Scrap supplies by rail to Russian steelmakers down 7% in Jan-Nov

According to Russian Railway statistics, in November this year direct supplies of steel scrap by rail to Russian metallurgical companies and pipe plants totaled 1.32 million mt, up 12.3 percent compared to November 2012 but down six percent compared to October this year. In the January-November period of this year, Russian companies had 13 million mt of scrap supplies delivered by rail according to the same source, down seven percent year on year.
