Saudi Arabia's Al-Tuwairqi to build 4 factories

The Saudi Arabian-based Al-Tuwairqi Group plans to establish four iron and steel factories in Pakistan, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt within the next three years with a total cost of SR 2 billion (around $533 million). Hilal Al-Tuwairqi, chairman of the group, stated that the four factories would supply a million tons of metal. He also added that his group is aiming to become the largest iron producer in the Middle East.
