SAIL reduces steel prices
Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) reduced its prices for all products by Rupees 500-2'000 ($11-45/ton) per ton effective June 1, sources report. SAIL officials stated that the current market situation forced the company to reduce its prices. Meanwhile, it is yet unknown whether the other major Indian steel producers would follow SAIL's move.SAIL reduces steel prices
