South
Korea's steel
consumption is expected to increase 2.7 percent year on year in 2007 due to the boom in
manufacturing sectors such as
shipbuilding and the
automotive industry.
The company's steel
consumption will amount to around 50.2 million tons next year, South
Korea's Iron & Steel Association said in a statement.
