South Korea's steel plate inventories fell 127,000 tons month on month in March due to the increasing seasonal demand. South Korea Iron & Steel Association (KISA) disclosed that the country's domestic steel plate inventories regressed to 902,000 tons in March. Inventories of hot rolled steel fell 66,000 tons month on month to 218,000 tons last month due to the reduced output of POSCO and growing demand. The growing demand for electronics products and seasonal demand caused a decline of 30,000 tons to 95,000 tons in inventories of zinc-coated plates. Inventories of cold rolled steel fell 12,000 tons to 202,000 tons.
