S. African steel workers strike at Highveld

A strike in South Africa's Highveld Steel & Vanadium has affected production as workers demand higher pay. More than 2'000 of Highveld's 3'800 workers have gone strike demanding a 8 percent wage increase. Highveld Steel & Vanadium has offered a 5 percent increase. Highveld Steel & Vanadium is the South Africa's second-largest steelmaker and the world's biggest vanadium producer.
