Ruukki to pay cash dividend for 2009

Finnish steelmaker Ruukki has announced that its general meeting held on March 23 approved the payment of a dividend for 2009 of €0.45 per share in accordance with the board of directors' proposal.
Accordingly, a dividend of €0.45 per share is to be paid on April 8, 2010 to shareholders registered at the date specified for dividend payout, i.e., March 26, 2010, in the company's shareholder register, while the total dividend will reach €62,488,732.50.
As SteelOrbis previously reported, the company posted a loss per share of €1.98 for 2009, compared to a profit per share of €2.93 in 2008.
