Ruukki installs second laser cutting line

Finland-based steelmaker Ruukki has announced that it has installed a second bevel laser cutting line at its service centre in Seinäjoki, Finland to meet the increased demand for prefabrication services.

The new bevel laser cutting line to start production in May 2012 can process steel up to 20 mm thick and 12 meters long and can process both Ruukki's special steels and standard steels.

According to Ruukki's statement, the new line will enable cost effective services to be offered to customers.
