Russia’s ferrosilicon output up 7.3 percent in June

According to the data released by the Russian Federation's Federal State Statistics Service, in June this year the country's ferrosilicon output increased by 0.4 percent compared to previous month and by 7.3 percent compared to June 2014, reaching 88,100 mt. 
 
Meanwhile, in June this year Russia’s ferrosilicon chrome output totaled 10,200 mt, increasing by 2.1 percent year on year but down 4.9 percent down compared to the previous month.

In the first six months of the current year, Russia's production of ferrosilicon went up by 8.5 percent year on year, while its ferrosilicon chrome output increased by 57.2 percent year on year.
