In particular, in October, Russia produced 188,000 mt of seamless pipes - down 14 percent year on year and up 3.9 percent month on month, 17,700 mt of welded pipes - up 2.8 times year on year and down 17.8 percent month on month, and 425,000 mt of electric-welded pipes - up 4.4 percent year on year and down 1.7 percent month on month. Of the total Russian steel pipe production figure for October, the share of casing pipes accounted for 66,000 mt - down 20.7 percent year on year and up 18.1 percent month on month. In addition, during the month in question, Russia produced 1,300 mt of drill pipes - down 52.6 percent year on year and down 38.7 percent month on month, and 36,700 mt of tubing - down 10.5 percent year on year and up 3.8 percent month on month.
Meanwhile, in January-October this year, Russia's output of seamless pipes went down by 30.9 percent, its welded pipes output fell by 27.3 percent, its electric-welded pipe production decreased by 18.7 percent, its casing pipe output declined by 24.8 percent, its output of drill pipes dropped by 53 percent, while its production of tubing decreased by one percent, all compared to the same period last year.
