Russia’s stainless steel wire production down 16.7 percent in Q1

In March this year, production of stainless steel wire and other alloy steel in Russia increased by 16.1 percent month on month to 19,100 mt, down 13.5 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat).
 
During the first quarter of 2015, the production of stainless steel wire and other alloy steel in the country decreased by 16.7 percent year on year.
