Russian imports of stainless steel products in September this year increased by 3.4 percent month on month to 21,615 mt, according to Russia-based SpetsStal Association.
In particular, in the given month imports of stainless billets increased by 347.4 percent, imports of long stainless steel products increased by 11.5 percent, seamless stainless pipe imports rose by 12.7 percent, and ERW stainless steel pipe imports moved up by 26.6 percent, all month-on-month basis.
At the same time, imports of stainless flat steel products decreased by 0.7 percent and stainless wire imports moved down by 21.4 percent, both month on month.
