Russia's ferrous metal export volume down 4.4 percent in 2013

In 2013, Russia's ferrous metal exports decreased by 4.4 percent year on year to 37.311 million mt, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat). The total value of Russia's ferrous metal exports in 2013 was $20.051 billion, down 11.2 percent year on year.

Meanwhile, in the given year Russia registered a 1.8 percent increase year on year in its ferrous metal imports to 6.519 million mt, with a total value of $5.842 billion, down 6.7 percent year on year.
