Russia’s crude steel output increases

Russia's Federal Statistics Service disclosed that the country's crude steel output rose 2.1% year on year to 16.3 million tons in the first three months of 2005. In addition, Russia's electric steel output jumped 17% year on year to 1.1 million tons during January-March 2005 period.
