Russia’s coal exports rise by 15 percent in January-February

According to the data issued by Russia's Ministry of Energy, in the first two months of the current year Russia’s coal exports increased by 15 percent year on year to 27.86 million mt. In February alone, Russian coal exports amounted to 13.38 million mt.
 
Meanwhile, in the first two months Russia’s coal output rose by 2.86 percent year on year to 65.59 million mt, while in February alone the country’s coal production reached 31.9 million mt.
