Russia’s coal exports rise by 13.2 percent in January-November

According to the data issued by Russia's Ministry of Energy, in the January-November period this year Russia’s coal exports increased by 13.2 percent year on year to 149.05 million mt. In November alone, Russian coal exports amounted to 13.83 million mt.

Meanwhile, in the January-November period of the current year, Russia’s coal output rose by 5.13 percent year on year to 348.72 million mt, while in November the country’s coal production reached 33.9 million mt.
