Russian steelmaker MMK’s revenues rise in H1

Russian steel producer Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) has announced that in the first half of the current year its revenues increased by 30 percent year on year to Ruble 123.510 billion ($4.27 billion). Meanwhile, in the given period, the gross profit of the company decreased by 0.7 percent year on year to Ruble 20.241 billion ($0.7 billion).

In January-June this year, MMK's net profit stayed almost unchanged compared to the same period of last year, i.e., at Ruble 6.970 billion ($0.24 billion).
