Russian steelmaker Amurmetall to be sold by auction

Russian steel producer Amurmetall, which was declared bankrupt in 2013, has been put up for sale with a starting price of RUB 9.076 billion ($145.8 million) in an auction to be held on March 27, according to the Moscow-based Interfax news agency.

The plant will be sold as a single lot, including non-pledged stakes and stakes pledged with creditors VTB, Sberbank, Gazprombank, Raiffeisenbank and Erste Group Bank.
 
The plant, which has an annual output capacity of 2.15 million mt of steel, is the only electrical steel producer in Russia's Far East.
