Russian stainless steel product output up 6.7 percent in Jan-Aug

In the June-August quarter this year, Russia's stainless steel product output increased by 18.4 percent year on year to 20,425 mt, according to Russia-based SpetsStal Association. In particular, in the given period, output of flat steel products rose by 29.2 percent year on year to 7,522 mt.
 
Meanwhile, in the first eight months of this year, Russia's stainless steel product output amounted to 49,816 mt, up 6.7 percent compared to the same period of 2015.
