Russian semi-finished steel exports down 5.9 percent in Q1

In the first quarter of this year, Russian exports of semi-finished steel products decreased by 5.9 percent year on year to 3.4 million mt, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat). In March alone, Russia exported 1.16 million mt of semi-finished steel products, down 20 percent compared to March 2012.
