Russian production in H1 2006

According to the data released by the Federal State Statistics Service of Russia, the country's production of finished steel products rose 7.3 percent, that of steel pipes rose 16.2 percent and that of coke rose 0.2 percent year on year to 28.8 million tons, to 3.6 million tons and to 16.1 million tons respectively in the first half-year of 2006. Month on month index shows 17.1 percent increase in production of finished steel products, 8.7 percent increase in production of coke and 16.8 percent increase in production of steel pipes in June of 2006.
