Russian iron ore exports stable in January-February

According to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat), in the January-February period of this year Russia's exports of iron ore stayed at the level of the same period last year at 4.319 million mt, worth a total of $359.3 million, down 25.7 percent year on year.

In the January-February period, Russian exports of coal increased by 16.6 percent year on year to 20.683 million mt, worth a total of $1.87 billion, down 3.9 percent year on year.

In the given period, Russia exported 383,200 mt of coke and semi-coke, up 38.4 percent year on year, worth a total of $90.4 million, up 32.9 percent year on year.
