Russian imports in January-April 2006
According to the Federal Customs Service of Russian Federation, Russia imported 5,100 tons of iron ore and concentrate ore, 8.672 million tons of coal, 1.081 million tons of ferrous metals (excluding pig iron, ferroalloys and scrap), and 340,300 tons of steel pipes during January-April 2006. During the given period, Russian imports of iron ore and concentrate ore amounted to $1 million, that of coal amounted to $120.5 million, that of ferrous metals (excluding pig iron, ferroalloys and scrap) amounted to $718.8 million and that of steel pipes amounted to $400.8 million.
