Russian exports in January-May 2006

According to the data released by the Federal Customs Service of Russia, the country's export of ferrous metal rose 16.9 percent year on year to 19.25 million tons in January-May of 2006. The export of flat rolled products rose 7.7 percent, that of semi-finished products rose 9 percent, that of pig iron rose 21.3 percent, and that of coal rose 19.9 percent during the same period.
