Russian coal miner Kuzbassrazrezugol issues Jan-Apr output results

Russian coal mining company Kuzbassrazrezugol has issued its operational results for the first four months of 2010.

Accordingly, in January-April, Kuzbassrazrezugol produced 15.263 million mt of coal - up 7.86 percent year on year, including 1.363 million mt of coking coal - up 110 percent year on year. In April this year, the company decreased its coal production by five percent month on month to 3.768 million mt, including 373,000 mt of coking coal - up 2.5 percent month on month.

Meanwhile, Kuzbassrazrezugol's coal deliveries in the first four months of this year amounted to about 14.506 million mt - up four percent, including 1.1 million mt of coking coal - up 38 percent, while its exports of coal amounted to 7.63 million mt - down 2.3 percent compared to the same period last year.
