Russian pig iron and coking coal producer Industrial Metallurgical Holding (KOKS Group) has announced its operational results for the full year of 2015.
Accordingly, IMH (KOKS Group) produced 2.06 million mt of pig iron in 2015, decreasing by six percent year on year.
In 2015, the company's coal output increased by eight percent compared to the previous year to 1.9 million mt, while its iron ore output amounted to 4.96 million mt, up two percent year on year.
In the given year, the company's coke output increased by two percent to 2.73 million mt compared to 2014.
IMH stated that, despite the fact that 2015 was quite tough from economic point of view, its capacity utilization remained close to 100 percent during the year, and all divisions of the company were able to fulfill their annual production plans. The company also stated that in 2016 it will continue to implement projects on construction of the second stage of the Butovskaya mine, commissioning of the Tikhova mine and construction of the underlying lower horizon at the Gubkin mine of KMAruda. Modernization of the power facilities at the Tulachermet plant will also be carried out within schedule.
