Russia reduces finished steel output

According to the data released by Federal Committee of State Statistic of Russian Federation, Russia reduced the output of finished steel products 0.4 percent year on year to 9 million tons in January-February 2006. The output of steel pipes for the given period rose 12.1 percent to 1 million tons. The production of coke decreased 3.2 percent to 5.2 million tons.
