According to the data released by Federal Committee of State Statistic of Russian Federation,
Russia reduced the output of finished steel products 0.4 percent year on year to 9 million tons in January-February 2006.
The output of steel pipes for the given period rose 12.1 percent to 1 million tons. The
production of coke decreased 3.2 percent to 5.2 million tons.
