Russia issues January-November production results

In the first 11 months of the current year, Russia registered a 2.1 percent rise in its crude steel output to 64.3 million mt and a 3.1 percent increase in its rolled steel output to 55.8 million mt, both year on year, according to the State Statistics Committee of Russia (Russtat). In the given period, Russia saw an 11.4 percent increase year on year in its steel pipe production to 10.4 million mt.

In November alone, in Russia crude steel production increased by 5.8 percent, rolled steel output went up by 6.6 percent, while steel pipe production increased by 24.6 percent, all year on year.
