Rourkela Steel report strong output results

Steel Authority of India Limited's unit Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) recorded strong production figures in 2005-2006 period. Accordingly, company's hot metal production amounted to 1.78 million metric tons, crude steel production 1.66 million metric tons and saleable steel production 1.62 million metric tons. In addition, production of spiral welded pipes rose 76 percent during the same period.
