Rockcheck Steel inks technological cooperation agreement

Tianjin Municipality-based Chinese steelmaker Rockcheck Iron and Steel Group Co. (Rockcheck Steel) has signed a cooperation agreement with Beijing-based Central Iron & Steel Research Institute, as reported by Tianjin Daily on November 25. Accordingly, both sides will build a long-term strategic cooperation relationship which will speed up Rockcheck Steel‘s restructuring and upgrading of its products.

Central Iron & Steel Research Institute is the largest research and development institution in the metallurgical industry in China, playing a key role in technological innovation and in developing new products and new materials in the Chinese steel industry. Based on the cooperation agreement in question, Rockcheck Steel and Central Iron & Steel Research Institute will cooperate on technologies for more efficient smelting with less pollution and for high-quality wire rod production, while they will seek to speed up product development and upgrade Rockcheck Steel's products.
