RINL achieves record production and sales in April-December

Indian steelmaker Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) has announced that it has ended the year  achieving its best-ever performance in production and also in its sales volume during the April-December period despite volatile and difficult market conditions in the country.
 
During the April-December period, RINL increased its finished steel production by 21 percent on year-on-year basis, also recording best quarterly performances in production of sinter, liquid steel and wire rod production.
 
In the given period, RINL’s sales turnover increased by eight percent, while export sales revenues increased by 28 percent. The company’s sales volume amounted to 500,000 mt in December, the highest-ever level recorded for any December.
