Rimera to supply bends for Transneft's oil pipelines

Rimera Group, a services division of Russian steel pipe producer ChTPZ, has announced that in February this year it will supply 115 hot bends (100 mt) for the construction and upgrade of the main oil pipelines of subsidiaries of state-owned Transneft, which is responsible for national pipelines in Russia.

The main part of the supply consists of hot bends with diameter of 720 mm and wall thickness of 12 mm. The products are intended for the construction of the main Kuyumba-Taishet oil pipeline. In 2014, this is strategic project for Rimera in terms of supply of main pipeline equipment. Rimera will also supply hot bends with diameter of 1,020 mm and wall thicknesses of 14 and 16 mm to Transneft.
