Reliance Steel subsidiary acquires McKey Perforating

Los Angeles, California-based metals service center Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co. announced Wednesday it has completed the acquisition of metal perforating company McKey Perforating Co., Inc. With the help of its subsidiary company--Diamond Manufacturing Company--Reliance Steel was able to acquire both McKey Perforating Co., based in New Berlin, Wisconsin, and McKey Perforated Products Co., located in Manchester, Tennessee.

David H. Hannah, Chairman and CEO of Reliance Steel, commented: "McKey is well-known for quality within the perforated metals industry and will work closely with Diamond to further leverage their combined expertise in that market. We look forward to further expanding our presence within the perforated metal market, which is a high return and value-added end market."
