Record level iron ore import at Rizhao Port
Iron ore imports at China's Rizhao Port boomed. The port saw 157.8% year on year increase to 3.12 million tons in May which is the highest monthly level in the port's history. With the May figures, the total iron ore arrived at the the port reached 14.64 million tons through January - May 2005, up 157.8% year on year. 64% iron ores at Rizhao Port came from Australia; 17% from Brazil, 14% from India, and the rest from Canada and South Africa in May.Record level iron ore import at Rizhao Port
