Raspadskaya to develop new coking coal reserve

Raspadskaya Coal Company (Raspadskaya), one of the largest coking coal producers in Russia, has announced that it has started preparations for development of a new coal mine reserve containing more than 127 million mt of high-quality coking coal.
 
According to Raspadskaya, development of the new reserve will start in the third quarter of the current year. The new coking coal reserve will enable the company to work steadily until 2030. Total investment for the mine will amount about RUB 90 million ($1.52 million).
