Raspadskaya sees improved coal output in 2013

Russia's second largest coking coal producer Raspadskaya has stated that in the fourth quarter of 2013 its coal output decreased by eight percent quarter on quarter to 1.9 million mt. In the full year of 2013, the company's coal output amounted to 7.824 million mt, up 12 percent compared to the previous year.

In 2013, coal concentrate sales increased by 18 percent and surpassed 5 million mt due to increased output in the given year, while raw coal sales went up by four percent to 720,000 mt, year on year.
