Qingdao Steel produces 820,000 mt of finished steel in Q1

Shandong Province-based Chinese steel group Qingdao Steel has announced that in the first quarter of this year it produced 1.02 million mt of sintered iron ore and 820,000 mt of finished steel products, including 700,000 mt of high-end value-added steel products.
 
In the past few years, Qingdao Steel has held a 40 percent share in the Chinese domestic market for its main steel products which include steel cord and tire bead steel. At present, Qingdao Steel supplies its products to tire companies such as Michelin and Bridgestone.
