Puyang Steel hikes medium plate prices

SteelOrbis Shanghai On January 29, Hebei Province-based Puyang Steel hiked its ex-factory price of retail medium plate by RMB 50/mt ($6.3/mt). Following this upward adjustment, the ex-factory price of 16-25 mm Q235A common carbon medium plate has risen to RMB 3,870/mt ($498/mt), while that of 16-25 mm Q345 low-alloy plate is now RMB 4,050/mt ($521/mt). The above prices include 17 percent VAT and are effective as of January 29.
