Producer prices in French industry up 0.5% in Nov from Oct

According to the statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), in November last year producer prices in French industry increased by 0.5 percent month on month, following a month-on-month decline of 0.3 percent recorded in October. Producer prices for manufactured products fell by 0.1 percent in November compared to October and were down 1.1 percent compared to the same month of 2012.
 
In November last year, prices for imported manufactured products fell by 0.1 percent month on month, while a month-on-month increase of 0.3 percent was recorded for imported transport equipment. On year-on-year basis, imported manufactured product prices fell 1.8 percent, while transport equipment import prices saw a 0.2 percent decline. Import prices for manufactured products in France in November fell 0.1 percent month on month and were down 1.2 percent compared to the same month of 2012.
