Producer prices in French industry up 0.2% in Dec over Nov

According to the statistics released by France's National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE), in December last year producer prices in French industry increased by 0.2 percent month on month, following a month-on-month rise of 0.5 percent recorded in November. Producer prices for manufactured products increased by 0.2 percent in December compared to November and were down 0.7 percent compared to the same month of 2012.
 
In December last year, prices for imported manufactured products remained unchanged month on month, while a month-on-month increase of 0.1 percent was recorded for imported transport equipment. On year-on-year basis, in December prices of imported manufactured products fell 1.2 percent, while prices of imported transport equipment saw a 0.5 percent decline. Import prices for manufactured products in France in December remained unchanged from the previous month and were down 1.2 percent compared to the same month of 2012.
